The Junior League of Grayson County is very proud of that historic reputation, but as society changes, we adapt and evolve. We strive to put our venerable values to work in modern ways; demonstrating our pride and perpetuating our legacy by serving as a powerful voice for action, justice and change throughout North Texas. We are working in partnership with community stakeholders in ways that sustain and power change while cultivating civic leadership excellence. Become a Driving Force of Change Within Your Community

We accept new members in the Fall, and our application period is now OPEN. When new members apply, they will be provided with the tools and information they’ll need to play a crucial role in the Junior League of Grayson County’s current community focus of meeting the needs of our children.

Junior League of Grayson County Membership Eligibility Requirements

The Junior League of Grayson County welcomes women who are passionate about making a meaningful impact in our community while developing leadership skills and building lasting connections.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Live, work, or have strong ties to the Grayson County area and reside within 20 miles of Grayson County Border
  • Demonstrate an interest in volunteerism and community service
  • Have a desire to develop leadership skills through training and hands-on experience
  • Be willing to fulfill membership requirements, including participation, training, volunteer service, and annual dues 

What We’re Looking For:

Our members come from a variety of backgrounds and professions, but they share a common commitment to:

  • Serving the Grayson County community
  • Developing as leaders
  • Building relationships with like-minded women
  • Supporting the mission and programs of the Junior League
  • Creating positive and lasting community impact 

New Member Requirements

Women accepted into the Junior League of Grayson County will participate in a New Member Program designed to introduce them to the League’s mission, community impact, leadership opportunities, and volunteer service.

New Members can expect to:

  • Attend New Member training sessions
  • Participate in volunteer and service opportunities
  • Attend League meetings and events
  • Complete required membership requirements during the New Member year
  • Connect with fellow members and League leadership
