The Prom Shop is a magical experience for local high school students, transforming the second floor of the Bargain Box into a stunning dreamland filled with over 1,000 prom and evening gowns, along with a variety of shoes, bags, and jewelry. Here, many young women become Cinderella in the blink of an eye, enjoying dressing rooms, mirrors, and ample space to twirl and swish in their favorite dresses. The atmosphere is filled with big smiles, giggles, and even a few happy tears as giddy teenagers admire themselves. It’s truly a moment of Disney magic on Main Street! Thanks to generous donations, the Junior League proudly serves as fairy godmothers to all 13 high schools in Grayson County. We welcome in-kind and financial contributions year-round, which can be made at the Bargain Box or through a Junior League of Grayson County member.

Do you have a beautiful dress tucked away in your closet that you haven’t worn in a while? Now’s your chance to bless someone in need by donating that special garment! We are accepting gently used prom dresses, bridesmaid dresses, evening gowns, accessories, shoes, and even men’s suits—all sizes are welcome!
